ASEAS Conference 2022 Call for Papers – deadline 8 July 2022

ASEAS(UK) invites scholars and PhD students from all academic disciplines to present a paper in one of the selected panels at this year’s conference, which will take place online via Zoom from 8 to 10 September. The selection committee has accepted a number of significant panels and roundtables, covering a range of topics, from Men and Feminist Research in Southeast Asia to the Global Islamic Connection in the early Modern Indonesian Archipelago.

As an international and multi-disciplinary scholarly organisation, ASEAS particularly welcomes submissions from Southeast Asia-based scholars. 

Panels and events will be held in morning, afternoon and evening slots to provide maximum flexibility for those presenting. Conveners are welcome to suggest a particular UK time slot for their panel given.

Paper Proposals – 8 July 2022
Panel convenors must submit a complete list of panelists to ASEAS by 11 July 2022
